Do you know what is arguably the best part of my work as a vintage seller? It's being able to buy all the beautiful dresses I want! After all these years of honing my interest in style, this part still has not grown old. I just love searching the far and wide ends of the world (real and online) to dig up the most unique pieces. It's so ridiculously fun that I sometimes catch myself thinking how on earth it's possible that I'm actually doing this for a living. I mean, how cool is that? To spend my hours just... looking for and uncovering forgotten or overlooked beauty. It's a dream.
Some items that I find get me excited with loud funky prints or bold details. Others, like this cute violet wool number, are just so iconic for their times. She's so well made with all these great details like the oversized pockets and decorative stitching. I just love how well she fits and how incredibly comfortable she is at the same time. That said, I find I have little trouble saying goodbye even to my faves, like this one! It's enough for me to be able to feel like I've rescued them and then to have them here for a while to admire --I don't really have to own them and keep them forever. Sometimes they activate my creative side and push me to take a pretty picture that I can include in my shop --and this benefits the blog as well!
Do let me know if you'd like me to add more posts in similar stylings! I hope you enjoyed this one. It's a new area for me, shooting photos of myself indoors, and I'd like to try it more.
Yes, please! I miss your posts...

Lovely dress and I really like the interior photos! I've been doing inside photos recently too, because it's been so cold outside!
